We are the North's only cable waterski site and a great place to ski and wakeboard. We are within only a few minutes drive from junction 31 of the M1and are open to members and non-members alike.

The Cable:

The Cable Ski is a great place to wakeboard, wakeskate, slalom, trick or jump. We have a kicker and slider for wakeboarders and skaters, a competition slalom course and jump ramp for three event skiers.

The Cable Ski works by pulling you around our 750 metre circuit, under overhead cables. If you fall, or just want a rest, no problem. Just return to the starting dock to continue your go. Eight people can ski at any one time, making it a sociable and fun way to play on the water.

Learning to ski

Our staff are friendly and patient, and are all trained British Water Ski Federation (BWSF) instructors. Instruction is included in the cost of skiing, so learning to ski is relatively inexpensive

Beginners can start on dry land and ski off astroturf onto the lake, making it an easy transition onto the water. Start on a kneeboard, then progress to skiis, from there you can try wakeboarding or monoskiing (wakeboard hire is extra).
